Restrive.app is independently operated. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website and services.
Depending on how you use Restrive, we may collect:
- Account data: Name, email address, and profile data provided during sign in.
- Billing data: Payment and billing details processed by our payment provider.
- Usage data: Basic analytics, logs, and device information used to operate and improve the service.
- Email data (Job Tracker): When you enable the Job Tracker inbox, emails you forward to your personal Restrive address are received and processed. We extract the sender address, subject line, and message identifier. The email body is read in memory to classify the message but is not stored after processing. We also extract structured job details (company name, application stage, interview dates, salary information, and contact details) from the email content. Attachment file names, types, and sizes may be used to help classify emails (for example, detecting PDF attachments as application confirmations). We do not receive, store, or open attachment file contents.
We collect information when you:
- Create or use an account: Sign in, update settings, or contact support.
- Use the product: Interact with pages and features.
- Forward emails to your Restrive inbox: The Job Tracker inbox only processes emails that you manually forward or configure your email provider to forward. Restrive does not access your email account directly, does not request email login credentials, and cannot read emails you have not explicitly sent to your Restrive inbox address. By setting up email forwarding, you confirm that you have the authority to share the forwarded content with Restrive for processing.
- Allow cookies: We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication and essential site functionality.
We use collected information to:
- Provide the service: Run accounts, payments, and core product functionality.
- Automated classification: Forwarded email content is processed using third-party AI services to automatically identify job application updates, extract company details, and detect interview schedules. This processing happens in real time, the email body is not stored after classification.
- Communicate with you: Send service updates, support responses, and important notices.
- Improve Restrive: Monitor performance, debug issues, and ship improvements.
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with service providers that help us operate Restrive, such as:
- Payment processors: To handle subscriptions and transactions.
- Authentication providers: To support secure sign-in.
- Infrastructure providers: To host and secure the application.
- Email routing provider: To receive and route emails forwarded to your Restrive inbox address.
- AI classification provider: To automatically categorize job-related emails. Only truncated email content is sent for classification; no full email archives are shared.
Data Storage and Security
Data is stored using trusted infrastructure and service providers. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information.
Security Measures
Security practices include encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and monitoring to reduce risk of unauthorized access.
Email Tracker Data and Control
You can pause or deactivate your Job Tracker inbox at any time from your dashboard. When paused, incoming emails are acknowledged but not processed. You can delete individual tracked applications from your dashboard. To request full deletion of all email-derived data (message metadata, extracted job details, and scheduled items), contact us at the address below.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate business needs.
